Design Refinement & Change Request Policy
At RDC Web Design, we take pride in our client-first philosophy, ensuring every project captures the full essence of your brand vision. To uphold this standard while maintaining project efficiency and clarity, we provide unlimited design refinements during the Design Phase, supported by a clear Change Request framework for any additional requirements.
1. Unlimited Design Refinements
We believe that great design is achieved through collaboration and attention to detail.
As such, RDC Web Design offers unlimited design refinements within the Design Phase (refer to Our 8-Phase Website Design & Development Workflow) to ensure your complete satisfaction before development begins.
- Scope of Unlimited Refinements
- Covers visual adjustments and enhancements to the approved website design layout, colors, typography, imagery, and content placement.
- Applies strictly to the agreed-upon design direction and approved homepage or wireframe concept.
- Refinements are iterative improvements within the approved creative scope — not fundamental design overhauls.
- Exclusions
- Major redesigns or complete directional changes after design approval.
- Structural layout modifications requiring redevelopment or retheming.
- Additional pages, new features, functionalities, or integrations outside the agreed scope of work.
- All exclusions will be subject to the Change Request Process outlined below.
- Timing
- Refinement requests must be submitted in writing (via email or assigned project management platform) during the active Design Phase timeline.
- Once the design is approved and the project transitions into Development, subsequent design-related changes will be considered post-approval revisions and billed separately.
2. Change Request Process
We understand that new ideas can emerge as a project progresses. To accommodate these while maintaining structure and transparency, the following Change Request process applies:
- Submission – All new or modified feature requests, additional pages, or design direction changes must be submitted in writing.
- Evaluation – The RDC Web Design project manager will review the request and assess its impact on project scope, cost, and timeline.
- Quotation & Approval – A formal quotation will be provided for the additional work. Implementation will proceed only upon the client’s written approval.
- Implementation – Approved changes will be integrated into the project workflow and reflected in the next milestone update or invoice.
3. Our Commitment
We are committed to ensuring that your website design is refined until it perfectly aligns with your brand identity and business objectives.
Our unlimited design refinements policy guarantees creative flexibility and satisfaction, while our Change Request process ensures fairness, clarity, and project control.
Together, these frameworks allow RDC Web Design to deliver results that are both exceptionally crafted and efficiently managed, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience throughout every phase of development.
